That is a great set of grabs. Especially nice on the 3DS pick-up!

@inl2ainbows: That Zombie Nation box is nice!

@'Norch: Pikmin 2 for $3.50? Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

I had a nice little box from Japan arrive for me today:

No sir, I wish. That is Akumajou Dracula (Castlevania) for the Famicom Disk System.

My brother manages a hotel and lived there for quite a while, the city still mandates that a manager live in the complex, so the apartment has virtually stayed untouched and is now used as somewhat of a bachelor/study pad by myself and a few friends.  My brother moved out nearly 5 years ago, but left behind some belongings including a slew of video game box and manuals, and a few complete games.   I always expressed that I wanted the games, but I guess he never took me seriously.  Well this week I made it a point to prove to him that I did have use for them, and load and behold the magnitude of free items =] :

Box & manuals only:

And the more fruitful containing games, yeaaaah Goodzillaaa!

I  am now a part of the 32X club. Picked it up at a thrift store for $7.99 and it came in a plastic bag with power supply and model two Genesis A/V cord. Included was Doom for the 32X and Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Hidden Treasure for the Genesis. Now I finally can play my Knuckles Chaotix.

Also headed to my local game store to pick up some Wii games a Co-Worker recommended. The Conduit, Mad World and Deadly Creatures for around $7 a game.

Also picked up a Composite and S-Video switch box for a few bucks at the thrift store... kinda getting a little cluttered with wires in my house.

Went to the flea market today and I found a few good deals.  I got the Super Scope cart and sensor, all the N64 games, and the Mario Bros GBC instructions for $16, Tetris 2 from a different seller for $6, and the best deal of the day, a Playstation for $3!  It didn't come with a power or A/V cable, but I was assured it works.  I had some spare cables at home and lo and behold it did work.  I'm not really a playstation collector but it will trade in for a few bucks to get more Nintendo stuff.  Not a bad day.

Yeah I've been collecting the Genesis for about two years now. Never really cared for the 32X or Sega CD. But hey for $7.99 for the system with two games hell why not give it a try. I'm actually enjoying it a lot. Maybe I'll pick up a few more 32X games in the future.

Welcome to the club.  Prepare to be frustrated when you hit the price wall that seperates the $5 commons and the $300 and up rares.

Right, but when I decided to go for the full run of 32x stuff I figured it would be easy since the library was so small.  And well....
