I really want Mr. Mosquito. I want to try and get a complete Fresh Games collection, which really shouldn't be too hard.

I would offer to sell you this copy, but it's missing the manual =/

Hey now!

This weekend's garage sale crawl was pretty meh overall, but I thought I made out pretty good with what I was able to find.

I picked up Star Wars: The Force unleashed and Army of Two for PS3, both CIB, at one place for $5.

Another place had a TremorPak Plus for N64, which I negotiated down to $1.50 from $2.00.

I also decided to add plug-and-play game consoles to my collection with the purchase of an Atari Classics 10-in-1 plug-and-play joystick for $1.00.

I grabbed a LaserLine CD case for my TurboGrafx discs, which set me back a buck.

I also found a nice Craftsman toolbox for $2.00, which I'll be cleaning up and putting my video game cleaning supplies and tools in.

The thrift scene wasn't too bad, either-- I managed to find CIB copies of Armored Core 2 and R-Type Final for PS2, and Tetris Plus for PS1 for $1.99. I also found complete strat guides for MGS3, GTA San Andreas, and Tomb Raider Chronicles for $2 each.

Oh yeah, I also found an electronic Pokedex thingy for $2.

I haven't been able to go out hunting the past few months but I was somehow able to this weekend.

Everything came to $30 and everything but Mystical Ninja is CIB.

It's possibly for sale or trade.

Yeah, I was surprised at how quickly Nintendo stopped producing those.  If it were me, I may hold onto that.  I can't imagine the value going down.

My local one used to have prices like that too, a buck for anything older than PS2. It was awesome while it lasted!

there's only a couple pawn shops i know of with decent selection of games here, one of them seemed to go by ebay prices, and the other was just one of those "$10 each for every NES game" kind of places, and most of the games were common. the one that went by ebay prices wasn't too bad though, it has a lot of CIB stuff and a good selection of uncommons, and some oddball things. they must have at least a hundred famicom games and some CIB, and a mix of almost every other system.

Yep, I had a place that was $2 per game at one time.  Now they take less old games and a copy of Ice Hockey for the NES is $7.99.  Needless to say, I don't go there so much anymore.
