Walked up to a yard sale to see 30 or 40 NES games, only to have the guy running the sale tell me someone else had just bought them. I felt bad, but they were all pretty common and there wasn't anything I was specifically after. Oh well, at least I got this as a consolation prize:

A Double Pro Fighter! I can back up and play Genesis games off floppy discs now, that's pretty darn neat. It also has a SNES side, but it didn't come with the piece to attach it to the SNES. It's pretty neat! Now, to figure out how to put Mega Man Wily Wars onto a floppy so I can play it...

Does the Pro Fighter work?  Those things are impossible to find in working condition.

It does! The Genesis itself is a little wacky though, lots of weird lines and things off alignment when playing games, even without the Pro Fighter. I'm going to dig out my Model 2 and see if the Pro Fighter works on that, it certainly does not work on the Model 3 that resides under my TV.

Congrats Grue.  A working Pro Fighter is one in a million (not literally, but you know what I'm saying).

Time for one of my typical trips to the store...

Anthony (izret101), the MK3 guide is yours if you want it. Otherwise, I'll be more than happy to add it to my growing list of guides. Also, I was able to finally find a copy of Tempo, and it was in fantastic condition! Unfortunately, I forgot that I need to replace my copy of Doom for the 32X, since the original copy I have had the UPC ripped off it when I got it in my original 32X lot, so the number of 32X titles I need stays the same.  Undecided

Rich (singlebanana), I picked these up for you. Feel free to claim them. Grin

Items my wife picked up. Blu-rays were 3 for $20 and Xbox games were Buy2Get1.

Conan! Nice!

There's a second copy there...

You really need to list what you need in the thread. I referenced everyone's stuff when I went, but could only find things for Rich. If you can't read the price point on Conan, it's $5. The other copy is a little dirtier, and has a small amount of marker on the back of the cart.

Thats a great price. I really appreciate the offer, but Rich already has so much for me that I'm in debt. I cant afford other people looking for stuff for me right now Smiley

You end up trading for it?

Yep. Believe it or not, I traded a few NES Games and a PS1 Longbox Game for it.

Glad you got it, Redd.  I was rooting for you.  Actually I was playing Ironsword and cursing, but I was thinking of you.  Okay, I might have been cursing your name while I was playing Ironsword, but it was purely a reaction whilst playing the game.  I was still hoping you got the system Smiley

Hit it, boys:

That's right, I'm back on the yard sale scene for the first time in months. Gaming wise, methinks I did a little better than okay:

At one place, I grabbed a PSP-2001 with 1GB memory stick, charger, and USB link cable along with three loose Pokemon DS games, two loose Harry Potter DS games, and a loose Pokemon Emerald version cart without a label, all for $25.

Later, I found a BradyGames strat guide for SoulCalibur IV for $1.

Then I hit a church rummage sale, and picked up a sealed set of K'Nex Mario Kart mini-figures of mario, Luigi, and Yoshi for $5, as well as an alternate version of the Battleship hand-held LCD game for $1.

Finally, there was the most unexpected find: Rayman for the PS1, in one of those Sega CD/Saturn-style cases, for $2.

The big non-video game score of the day: two TI-83-plus graphing calculators, including a transparent blue version, for $1 each.

Oh yeah, I also got a couple loose build-a-mini-lightsaber sets and a Darth Vader phrase button for $1. Um, yay.  hmm

Needless to say, I can't wait to see how next week shakes out...
