My son and I beat Skylanders so my wife surprised us with 3 new characters so we could unlock some more areas in the game. She was actually careful enough to get the remaining 3 character types we needed. So we got:
Hex
Dino-Rang
Whirlwind
Now we have 4 trophies left to pickup.

Went back to the swap-meet to look for the Genesis 3, picked up some other stuff instead.

All complete, one sealed, $1 each.

Sears Super Video Arcade $2, does anyone know what sort of TV adapter this uses?

Game Boy with Game Boy shaped carrying case and three games, margins of screen don't show =/. Master System with two controllers, missing RF adapter--anyone have an extra one of these as well? Both for $20.

I think I have an extra SEGA brand RF adapter, but I'd really recommend that you just pick up a composite out cable. Much better than RF. Nice haul, I like me some Game Boy.

Definitely. Still need to grab an original Game Boy. I've seen a few at the flea market but they have always been in terrible shape.

I would pick up a composite out, but I'm truly just looking to sale/trade the system since it's not complete. As far as the game boy, I'm now making it a point to carry AA's on me haha.
On another note, I just found a bunch of stuff in my garage after realizing I had an Intellivison cart whose parent system I could never identify. Still, no better feeling that finding games in your house. Pictures coming in a sec.

AWWWW I saw a Wii Fit Plus bundle at Goodwill a few hours ago. They wanted $30 which wasn't terribly unreasonable, but I think I can do better...And you just proved it.

Yard Sale Day!
This week I drove an hour west from Toronto and hit a pretty suburban populated area. As always, Genesis shit is all CIB, I don't show games that aren't. Not shown are some neat bits of Genesis paperwork like a Game Genie code manual, the Phantasy Star hint book mint in plastic, odd manuals and stuff.
Common Genesis games

Black Box Canadian Variants

More common stuff

Nice cardboard lot

Getting rarer....

Not a bad day for me. Even though I'm still recovering from a few big purchases, I was able to pick up a few small things today.
Grey Zelda cart from singlebanana showed up today, already had the rest so that completes it.

Also stopped by my local(ish) retro game store and picked up a Final Fantasy IX Guide and Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the Saturn. Street Fighter, condition wise, is as close to perfect as I have ever seen in a Saturn game.

And as a special bonus, I grabbed a Space Invaders ice cube tray!

I went to flea market a few miles away from the house today and picked up the following loose SNES games for $13 total:
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
Lost Vikings
All of these games, except Lost Vikings, have been added to my FS/FT thread along with some other great 3DO, DC, and Sega CD goodies.
