One game to rule them all. Silent Service, truly a king among games.

Or it can be RF Gen's logo. Great picture, Duke.

I stopped by the Play n Trade on Tuesday night, not sure just when the final day was going to be.  I was told that they were transferring the entire remaining stock from the store an hour South of here to this one the next day, and I should come back then.  So that night I just picked up 5 FREE boxes of rental and orphan cases, and many with the covers/manuals. Oh, damn.  I'll be looking through collections to find out who needs the ones I find.

Last night I made the final visit.  It was almost the same feeling I had when I walked into the bar where I DJed in NC for the last time, except this time everything was scattered and in boxes.  I wasn't leaving, they were.  Good times, Man.  The guys gave me a box and first emptied all the retro stuff into it from the other store and then said that I could load the rest with anything I wanted.  The entire box for $4.  I'm still sorting, but that post will be up this weekend.

This Nintendo sign, identical to the one I grabbed for self, will be heading to a buddy's house soon.  Tub of PS2 - $5, Two inop Genesis model 1s - free, and the other box was my $4.  Stay tuned.

I wouldn't normally mention it here, but it's so damn cool.  I stopped by my Dad's to give him his birthday present shortly after leaving the PnT.  He is taking care of two of my nephews, and they couldn't get the XBox Live connected on a system they got months ago.  I squared them away and received this:

Thems Techie's boys.  And I apologize if you guys are getting friend requests from them, but they love their XBox Live connectivity.  So far Duke looks to be the new uncle.

So tonight I did some hunting, since I was back in town early.  Thrift Store:

Can someone tell me who the figure is?  It looked cool and will go next to Ozzy on my shelf.  Cheap handheld, but it's Hockey for $0.75.  Game Cube Start-Up Disc will be FS/FT, if anyone needs one.  GB games - TMNT-Back From the Sewers, Dr Mario, Spider-Man2.  And the Gizmondo game is an eBay purchase that took way too long to get here.  No love for the Giz?  okay then.

AND FINALLY!  WHO ELSE NEEDS A SILENT SERVICE?  Yeah, they're everywhere around here.  First PM gets it.

I stopped by a local pawn shop tonight and snagged some decent stuff.  The owner has gotten to where she has given me her keys to unlock cases and lets me past the counter border to look at things.  Even though she sometimes looks online for prices on the obviously nice games, she still drops about 30% off what she sees, which is commendable.  The Guy Game is FS/FT.  Boobs, Dude.

LOL, your nephews have been leaving me a lot of voice messages. I hope they don't take it the wrong way, but I don't wear my headset so I was texting back. They seem to be digging into it with gusto. I hope they have fun with it.

That's a crazy haul there. I've got several disc only 360 games if you happen to come across an empty case/manual. I bet that Game Boy Player startup disc will go fast. If not here, throw it up on Nintendo Age.

Thanks for the understanding.  You're famous to them if you mention the CollectorCast.  "You're on YouTube?!"  Not much 360 stuff, but I'll be doing an overall query of those that need what I find.

Pffft, people cleaned their systems back then?  I thought you were supposed to just blow and slobber all over them!
