Jealous of the Dice Puzzle, no Panda games currently in my collection, though I'm keeping an eye out. Yes, Panda games are hard to come by and even harder to find them with nice labels. And yes, this is one of the nicer labels. Nice score.  Deadly Duck is a weird shooter. Weird is good right?

Thanks Banana - I have a Boxed Sancho Release of the game so I am pondering but not sure yet as it is rare and I like rare 2600 games but IF I choose to let this one off my hands or find an even better one it's yours.

Hmmm....the rarity of the Sancho version is PAL and listed as "undetermined" by AtariAge. One for sale on Retrogames CIB for 25 pounds, so roughly $39 USD.

Hey now!

Although it's been slim pickings lately, I did manage to dig up a few interesting finds...

Strat guides for $1.99 each:

- NP Wariowrold
- Prima Dark Cloud (Greatest Hits)
- Prima Maximo: Ghosts to Glory

Other guides, $0.99 each:

- Master Eon's Official Guide to Skylanders Spyro's Adventure: All right, now I have my very own copy of this, with the poster intact!

- Nintendo Role-Playing Games: Now this is an odd one: it's a hardcover in a format similar to those young-reader deals from the 80s. It also doesn't offer an extensive amount of hints and tips on the games it covers. None the less, i found it interesting enough-- and cheap enough-- to pick up.

I also found a few games and supplies:

- 20 XBox/360 cases, $5.00: been looking to replace several busted-up XBox cases in my collection...

- CIB Popolocrois and EA Replay for PSP, $4.99 each

- CIB Iron Helix for Sega CD, $3.49

- PSP Media Manager for PC, $3.59

The most interesting find of the week goes to this copy of Dino Crisis with Resident Evil 3 demo for PS1 that I found for $1.99 sealed...

...but not CIB.

Could it be a reseal? I have my doubts; for one thing, it still has an undeployed hang-tab stuck to the back (seen in pic). The seal at top and bottom are y-fold, and the wrap isn't stretched tightly across the case, which is a common sight on shrinkwrap-resealed games. Also, the top band appears to be untouched. In any case, it's a fairly odd pickup.

And now, as promised, I'll reveal the greatest score of them all:

Do you see it? Hold on, let's get a little closer to it:

Now do you see it? No? Okay, let's move a little further forward:

Surely you can make it out now.

And I promise not to call you "Shirley" anymore.

But if you can't, here's a closer look:

How's that?

That's right: I have discovered the location of the Hyrulean Triforce, quite possibly the greatest artifact in electronic gaming, (not so) cleverly disguised as a monument to the Civilan Conservation Corps members that developed the surrounding area in the 1930s.

This "monument" was dedicated in 1992, the same year that A Link to the Past-- inarguably the greatest Legend of Zelda game ever-- hit the North American shores.

Coincidence? I wonder...  hmm

No time this week to hunt, vice one location (on company time).

Another eBay lot to help in the CIB, or at least better to display, collection.  Finding a case for my Whac-A-Critter was sweet.  And another NHL game.  Here come the playoffs!

eBay lot for $20.  4 of the 5 I needed, but Tomb Raider is FS/FT.  Sonic N kept me entertained the last few 4AM+ mornings.

And I had to head south yesterday to check a connection to one of our upstream providers.  Two hour drive down and 5 minutes to determine it was their shit, so I decided to finally stop at the Play n Trade in that area - the sister store to the one I love.  The kid behind the counter called my favorite store to antagonize them that I was now THEIR customer, but alas the brand new guy I haven't met answered so there went the joke.  They had some damn awesome retro stuff in the store, and I was happy to load up.

I did hold on their .hack titles, Rockin' Cats for the NES, and a few others for now, but I might just head down again soon after I make sure the local guys crank my rep a bit.  Some were a little high on price.  Here's what I did grab.

Baten Kaitos was $5.  They also had Origins, but I need to negotiate.

I had never seen Hudson Hawk or Space Shuttle Project for the NES in person.

SNES games:  Mechwarrior, Ballz 3D, Frankenstein, Ultraman, Arcana ($5), and
Romance of the Three Kingdoms II, III, IV ($5, $8, $5)

Fighter Destiny 2 for N64

And two Atari titles that lit my eyes: Space Cavern & Encounter at L-5.  Never played them, but Data Age and Apollo title are always promising.

I like my N64 game drawer so much that I'm considering grabbing more.  Just a great game room add-on, no shelving required.

Yeah me too, I am glad I was able to grab it while I could, hope I can find another to put the rest of my n64 games in.
