Eventually I'll get that "made" and "assembled" thing straight.  I'll see if I can get some scans made without smushing the box in my scanner.  Unfortunately, there won't be any cart or manual scans this time Smiley
Oh no... I just realized... does that mean there could be the Assembled in Mexico one out there too?  AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Put a piece of white printer paper over the game's box on the scanner and don't close the lid.  The scan should still come out and your box will be smush free!

I don't know why it didn't dawn on me to use a piece of paper.  At one time I was sitting there thinking, "What could I cover this with?!"    And paper wasn't popping into my head.  I'll have to try and remember this!

You forgot to mention your Detective Barbie!

Ixtaileddemonfox and I will combine our magnificent Barbie game collections and rule the world.  Consider this fair warning.

That is a pretty handy tip.  I've always just left the scanner top open for more fragile boxes, but it can be a tough to deal with the shadows that leaves behind.  Thanks broseph!

Woke up to the sound of the mail carrier ringing the doorbell to hand me a big box from Zagnorch. Look what he gave me for a Birthday gift  Grin

He sent me a tabletop Sonic pinball machine!!! This made jump for joy! He did however leave a note in the battery compartment telling me to get my own damn batteries  Tongue

But he just had to mention our little bet that we made during the World Series, which my Detroit Tigers got sweeped by his San Francisco Giants...

Thank you very much Zagnorch, this made my day  Smiley

Picked up a new Sony PSP-3000 to knock off my 2013 collecting goal list. Still cooler than the Vita IMO.

Probably ease of use, huge, established library of games, ongoing PSN support, and new releases and imports still coming out for a long time to come.

^ That pretty much sums it up. Funny thing is the clerk at the store was talking about how they haven't sold a Vita in over a month and how the PSP still sells better than the Vita. Theirs lots of good titles for this system for cheap.

Had to go a few towns over for work and scoured the thrifts in between

Happy to find the twin snakes for $1.25. The Halo Collector's guide is $6 in Best Buy clearance and the Red Faction game is $5:

Also found a few transformers and figs. The hulk and Spidey transformer I'll keep, the rest will be sold:

NIce grab with MGS Twin Snakes! Also I love Syphon Filter too. Fun to use the tazer gun thingy for an extended period of time and catch the enemies on fire.
