^2nd that the gba version of 1 and 2 are pretty bad...and 32x wise I used to own 4 copies 2 in box but now only down to one CIB. And it's an ok version is rather play PC, ps1 or even 3do.

I'm working on my Tengen subset.  I loved these black carts when i was a kid, so i figured it was a good place to start with publisher subsets.  Plus since most the Tengen games are affordable, even Tetris to a certain extent, it shouldn't be too hard to complete the run.

Fantasy Zone and Gauntlet were Christmas presents
R.B.I. Baseball was $5
Skull & Crossbones is from Techie (thanks!) and he threw in Bases Loaded 3 for free, which apparently is played by Ryne Sandberg.  I wonder if he still plays....

I tried three local Goodwills/Salvation Army stores yesterday to no avail (all sports games and one decent copy of Sonic and a bad copy of Tony Hawk on PS2). When I got home, I checked out the local classifieds (Kijiji) and I was floored by the fact that someone had listed games at less than Ebay"buy it now" prices (seriously, people don't seem to get that these are essentially online yard sales). The game that really drew my eye was Run Saber for $20. I contacted the guy about it but he told me it had sold. Instead, I ended up getting Ducktales (NES), Mario Kart 64 and Luigi's Mansion for $30 total. With most local online sellers or my local retailers, the price of those 3 games would fall in the $60-$75 range. I don't think I got a steal, but I think I got a good deal (which is very rare).

Shadow I'd love to see you on Jeopardy.  I have a feeling you'd kill it.

...yet, I almost always place last in trivia in the house. Damn Popular Culture questions.

Few things I picked up in the last week or so, will post better details in my collection of mindless rambling I call a blog.

@engel762: Awesome haul overall, and besides the obvious stuff the early Cool Boarders games will always have a special place in my heart!

Just a heads-up, those GTAs are part of a larger collector's set. Also to be read as: "I'm not accepting those back into the database as single entries for the 4th time."  laugh

Also, I can't seem to find the Sega Saturn version of Virtua Racing in the database.  Yay submissions!

That'd be the one, searched Virtua Racing and was getting nothing lol

And with all that, I break 700 items in my collection.  704 to be exact.  aaaand I'm still a newbie. Cheesy
