Hey everyone did a little Game Hunting today with my friend Bill (Engel762) and picked up quite a few things a lot of filler but a lot of nice stuff as well at some pretty cheap prices.  Keep an eye out for a new blog entry of mine but here are the pictures to wet your appetite.

Enjoy! Please comment.

The Ring looks like one of the worst horror games ever, like Deadly Premonition bad without the cheesy charm.

Probably didn't come out with an amazing deal or anything like that for $125, but either way I'm happy with this lot.

Plus as the last gaming-related thing I've gotten in 2012, felt like I should post it.

So the other day I'm driving home from work, enjoying some serenity that no doubt will be destroyed by my two beautiful children soon, when my car starts ringing.  It's my wife.

"Did you buy something from the Zagnorch?" my wife asked quizzically.

"No..."

"There is something here from the Zagnorch.  A box."

A big box.  Well, not a huge box, but a bigger box then I was expecting (which was the last of the crap from Goozex).  I had already received my present from his blog contest, so that couldn't be it.  What had Uncle 'Norch sent across Terra for me to open?

"Is it ticking?"

"No."

"Does it smell of almonds?"

"No."

"Is is shaking, as if in anger?"

"No."

"Can you get one of the kids to open it?"

"No!"

It was plain to me this was getting no where.  So when I got home I was confronted my a box.  Not a huge box, but certainly not a box with some crappy PC games in it from Goozex.  I opened it to find:

The manilla envelope explained everything.  Well, not everything.  It didn't explain why my damn hot air popper isn't working or why Doctor Detroit isn't a good movie, but it did...  illuminate things.  A few weeks ago I decided to comment on Zag's followup Santa blog while I was at work.  Problem was I might have been a bit buzzed when it happened, though I do actually remember doing it (I was of sound mind when I wrote it).

I was very happy when I went through the box.  Mostly because it was as if Zagnorch had spent time researching the way I am on The Hunt, which is to say I pretty much grab everything and everything, surprising even myself when I look through my finds.  So...

Not only is it CIB, but the disc is perfect as well.  Expect screenshots soon.

A light for my GBA that matches the color of my GBA (which is shown with the light).

An awesome Guitar Hero skin, which is going up on the wall next to my Star Wars figures.

Sealed copy of DDR X with the gamepad.  Sweet!

Just a few more things.  First, I would like to thank Zagnorch, whom I do not pretend to understand sometimes, though I do always enjoy his comments.  I didn't have a great Christmas this year, but the unexpected arrival of this package was certainly enough to plaster a smile on my face for more than a few days.  Second, technically I did break the rules of his contest, so I didn't expect anything at all, though I am very grateful.  I promise I won't do this again next year.  Finally, I would like to close with a PSA.

Sure, kids, drinking is a lot of fun.  However, when you don't have any alcohol tolerance and consume too many hard ciders, maybe you should read the rules of Zagnorch's blog post before posting.  Thanks.

Starting 2013 the same way I started 2012 - by buying more NES games!

Spelunker had a rental sticker behind the store's price sticker, which was a not-that-fun surprise. Shouldn't be too bad to get rid of, hopefully.

That VOID sticker will come right off with a little Goo-Gone and elbow grease. Nice grab on Battleship, that one is trickier to find.

@Bomba: Doctor Detroit isn't a good movie? Sad
