I have been super busy/broke lately with moving to a new place, so I have not been hunting as much as I normally do. The other day I managed to sneak off to my local game store and was pleasantly surprised to find a copy of River City Ransom. I am still in my first year of collecting NES and have not seen a whole bunch of these in my area. I picked it up and called my buddy over for a fun night of gaming. Got it home, cleaned it up, and popped it in my top loader only to stare at a blank black screen. Tried it a bunch of times, but the game was defective. Let's just say I was a little more than pissed/sad.

Next day I brought it back to the store and was told neither that or any other of their stores had the game. I got my money back and was walking towards the door when I heard "WAIT!" I  turned around to see the guy holding another copy of RCR in his hands. Hell yeah. Exchanged it and the new one works great. I'll post some more finds as soon as I get some extra cash.

Oops sorry about that. In my defense, that day it did feel like a big score Wink

No worries, and River City Ransom really is a fun game. A definite must for growing a small NES collection.
