I think that would be a fun goal. I also think you'll be surprised just how many games are going to be on your list. I find the quality is pretty decent too for the most part. I've thought of maybe doing it too, but never put any serious attempt in at it. You could always break it down into smaller goals too by splitting up the heroes. Go for all Wolverine games first, then Hulk, then Spider Man, X-Men, Punisher, etc., etc..
Spider Man Web of Fire is gonna set you back a few bucks, but beyond that I can't think of any rare/valuable marvel games that are gonna give you much trouble. I'm sure someone else can chime in on that though.

Hope you're also not concerned about regional variants - Acclaim titles for JP Megadrive can be expensive.
Naw Just stateside releases as i plan to play majority of them Yes i am aware but more focusing on Nes and up due to the fact it would be hard to find boxed Atari and Coleco games
They're really not that hard to find. U would be surprised around here there are no Atari or Coleco games.
