I did some work for the office next door last week.  Not too complicated, Wireless AP install, Citrix receiver configuration, etc.   Just took some time.  I didn't mind, I like to help out when I can.

They called me back over today .  They gave me a $150 Amazon Gift Card as a thank you Smiley

I get surprise money and alcohol all of the time for finding and working on peoples' pinball machines. Just got a surprise message the other day that my buddy's family is letting us stay in their beach place free for a week this year. Great surprise.

^ Heh, you and I seem to get the same payments. I work on peoples cars on the side and only ask for payments in beer, usually resulting in both beer and money.

Speaking of surprise money and TRU gift cards: around Thanksgiving last year, my dad gave me a TRU gift card he found in a parking lot, which happened to have $100 on it. Thus I was able to buy a new Skylanders Giants starter set, along with a few figures.

Oh, I also found a couple dollar bills and change in a 7-11 parking lot last month. Two free sody refills raht thar.

I found a $10 on the ground once, I framed it as a good luck charm though.

How's this for a surprise:

This one's pretty boring compared to other bills I've come across in the cash office at work, though.
