I recently got a Japanese Gold N64 with 9 games that I'm putting on ebay.  I picked up the lot for the controller and SNES with games and don't need the Japanese console since I just purchased a black recently.  Plus my Japanese isn't all that great.  Console looks great but I'm not really into collecting for colors and I personally think the black looks better.

I'm not in the market for one myself, but I do wish you the best in moving it out.

Thanks.  I'm going to put the money towards the purchase of the Wii U.  I know there aren't many games out there but the system intrigues me.

Well you may be in the market.  It's only at $38 right now and it ends tonight.  I labeled the sale as "system" and not "console".  I think it may be hurting the bidding as most people search for N64 console.  It's only at 80 views in 5 days.  8 people are watching though.  It's not looking too good.  I even called ebay to change the "system" to "console" and they wouldn't do it.

Oh well.

It's summertime and that means less people buying things on ebay.  I have a few items on sale, and I have had to lower the prices in order to get sales, and the price they were originally at were low average prices.  I have read that this is how it is during the summertime, although I have picked up some good deals on games this summer off ebay just for this reason.

I've edited auction titles after listing before. I find it surprising that you weren't able to do that.

It said I can't edit the title after a bid has already been placed.

Ahh. That makes more sense. I always edited mine immediately.

I'm not saying things would have necessarily turned out differently for you, but I'm sure a few of your fellow rfgen users wish you would have tried to sell it here first before resorting to the 'bay  Wink

Well live and learn I guess.  The buyer hasn't paid for the item yet so I wouldn't be surprised it he/she doesn't.  I got a Super Nintendo and 9 games (decent ones at that) and the Gold N64 and 9 games for $35 so nobody lost here.  I sold my discolored Super Nintendo for $56 and kept the new one and sold the Gold N64 for $60 (with shipping). I made over $70 out of the whole thing and got a slew of awesome SNES games and a beautiful "gray" SNES.  I'm not disappointed.  But next time I'll take your advice and stick to RF Gen.  I have gotten some awesome stuff from the sales thread already.
