Alright, I have been reading way too many nosleep stories on reddit.  I also like to check out some creepypasta sites from time to time.  I figured if anyone had a personal creepy/spooky story or even heard of a good one they can post it here.

What's that? You finally came out of the closet, you say?

My absolute favorite one is in regards to Candle Cove, a childrens' tv show in the 1970s that had quite a few things very, very wrong about it.  It also sparked an entire movement, with people coming up with their own stories, fake videos and the like!

You might slug your way through these and see if you can dig up something good:

I agree about Candle Cove, very creepy.  I have read that one, a while back.  I will definitely check out the others. Come on russlyman, let's hear what you got.

I do remember one especially creepy story.  I may have forgotten some of it, but this is the gist of it:

One day a kid came home from school and heard his mother calling him from a room upstairs.  He started walking upstairs and got an uneasy feeling, and about that time he heard his mom opening the front door and asking him to come outside and help her with the groceries.  Just then he glanced back at the room at the end of the hall upstairs and noticed some eyes staring through the door, which was slightly cracked open.

I may have that wrong, but that's all I remember.

What, is the story about your coming out of the closet not spooky enough?  Tongue

http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Happy_Appy

Happy Appy has been one of my favorites for a while.

Whoa, that's pretty messed up!  I need to go back and finish it; I read a bit of it, but it's pretty long though.

Well, thanks to this post being on a video game site, it gave me the idea to make a video game-themed one! Smiley

"Game (NEVER) Over" is in regards to a man named Jim who is starting his entire life over with a newly single life, place to live, blog and video game he found at a resale shop for his Sega Genesis.  Unfortunately many unsettling things start happening with the more and more that he plays of it.

There's plenty of classic game name-dropping here in regards to the Atari 2600, Genesis, Vectrex and arcade.

I don't know if it's as long as Happy Appy (I don't think so but I didn't check), but yes, as a warning, it is fairly lengthy, and one line has really bad language, but that's it, the rest is pretty much PG-rated.

Game (NEVER) over

Don't read it with the lights off!

Here's a good video game related creepypasta. This topic might come back with the upcoming holiday.
