This might need to move to the trophies section.

A couple that come to mind right away:
1. Sega Saturn - free because they had the incorrect power supply and thought that it didn't work.
2. Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy VIII (along with a few other junk games and a PS1 deck) - free because I was the first person to reply to the ad
3. Shining Force III, $50 - Had to drive over an hour to get this one, but definitely worth the trip.
Sadly, all of these happened years ago. Craigslist, at least in Minnesota, has turned to junk for video games. Mostly just become a forum for local stores to post ads about their overpriced junk and for scammers trying to pull a fast one on people who might not know what their games are worth.

No, not yet. I am pretty good at leaving projects unfinished
Once I diagnosed the problem I got unmotivated to finish because in my mind I can just buy a new power supply (about $25) at any time and get it going. Weird?

Its been a while since I've gotten a REALLY good deal on craigslist/kijiji, but a couple of my favorites were:
TMNT 4 Player Cab delivered to my home for $450
and
13 CIB 3DO games for $90. Kept the 4 I wanted and sold the rest to an rfgen member for the $90 I paid.

I tell ya when you can get a cab delivered instead of having to lift it and moving it around.

Lot of 73 (Listed as "About 40") Sega Genesis carts - about half with boxes or CIB - for $60. Some of my favorites from the lot include a loose Contra: Hard Corps (with a faded top label, but otherwise in decent shape and works just fine), CIB Ecco The Dolphin, CIB Shinobi III, and a loose Lightening Force: Quest For The Darkstar. All but 2 games worked, with copies of College Football '95 and Decap Attack being the two that didn't and quickly replaced.
