Well, if you need a copy of Mirror's Edge 2, you know who to ask... I'll be waiting in line at work for that one.
How many Exertainment Bike's do you need to leak me an early copy
Depends on if I still have access to our burn lab. Also, I doubt you'd want an early copy - you'd want a late Alpha copy for something that was functional.

Quite being realistic and start figuring out how to score me a finished version of the game several months before its actually finished!!!!!

Parts of it are. The memory in the WiiU leaves much to be desired.

what makes it next gen the fact it's their newest console makes it part of the next gen systems. If people are hell bent on only tech making it next gen then PS4 and XBO are already behind

The LE Day One system has me slightly more interested.
But then i would be paying 500$ for a collectors edition system i had no games to play on.
And the hardware will more than likely be faulty.
But damn do i love CEs.
I hate it. But i am wanting it more and more.
Sony make an announcement so i can go back to hating next gen or being indifferent at the very least.

Sega licenses consoles all the time - they're not considered next gen systems. It'll just end up being when people arbitrarily draw the line on when the next generation is. I have a feeling it'll end up being when the new systems launch, due to the major different in technology vs. the difference in technology between the Xbox 360/PS3 and WiiU.

I just really want to see something I want to play. I was pretty happy with the free games announcement for gold members (I'm already a subscriber, so why not), but there wasn't much to get excited about.
And even that ends at the end of the year, I feel that is a lost opportunity for Microsoft. PS+ offers alot of bang for the buck.

SO, no DRM at all, no restrictions on PS4. What does MS do now?

Suffer, judging by the crowds reaction. I don't see how the Xbox One is going to compete with PS4 now.
EDIT: And $100 cheaper? Take my money

Yep. Sony is the winner in my books. Price is reasonable. Gamer-centric ecosystem. Used games are accepted. Sign me up.
The box is kind of ugly though.

I don't know about "war over" but Sony didn't do anything to help MS today, that's for sure. Neither system has me on day one. I'll probably be in the market for one of them in the holiday 2014 time frame when there is a more established library for each system.
Until then, I have a backlog to work on.

It's already up for pre-order on Amazon. If I had $400 at the moment I would pull the trigger.
