Outkast - Stankonia

The whole album is good but I think I like Ms Jackson most. It reminds me of going to my friend's house when I was something like 13-16. It was often on the music channels when I was over there in the evenings. Good times.  Cry Driver 2 is the same.

Edit 8/11/07

The Avalanches - Since I Left You

I was on drugs when I first heard this album so it will always sound weird to me. For some reason thinking of good times makes me a sad panda.

No Doubt - Rock Steady

I was sifting through my sister's CD collection and thought I would try this one. *shifty eyes* I'll admit it has a few tracks I like.

The Rescuers Down Under Soundtrack

Mainly 'The Journey' and 'Tomorrow Is Another Day' from "The Rescuers". I've always liked those two.

Guitar Hero got me into Sonic Youth so I've been listening to some of that.

Band of Horses - Cease to Begin.

It's definitely a departure from their first album but I love it. It sounds a bit Shins-y in areas, but overall a great second effort.

Shins-y? I love The Shins. I'll have to listen to that.

Tracks 5 and 7 are especially Shins-y. Track 8 is one of my favorite songs of the year.

I would also recommend tracks "The Funeral" and "Great Salt Lake" from their self-titled album.

I was listening to Outkast when I suddenly realised how crap it sounded. I checked the bitrate and for some reason it was only 128kb/s, so I've been ripping my Outkast CDs again at 320kb/s. Much better.

I've been thinking about re-ripping my CD collection. Due to previous space restrictions, everything is 128 kb/s.

It just seems like a daunting task..

Green Day - Shenanigans

I've been finding LOADS of CD's at the thrift shops lately. I've got about 20 in my car right now that I need to listen to. For $1 to $2 bucks each and all CIB it's hard to pass them up.

I realised most of my ripped CDs were only 128kbps so I'm going through most of them reripping them at a higher rate.
