Way to represent, Tondog!

Listened to a little bit of a lot of stuff at work today. Lots of solo acoustic artists, with an emphasis lately on Norah Jones. She's moving up my solo artist list realllllllly quickly these days.

Black Eyed Peas - Monkey Business

What a bunch of douches.

And aren't I cool? I'm commenting on some music I'm listening to while powerballing all at the same time.

I'm listening to my favorite song of all-time, Rapper's Delight by the Sugarhill Gang. Of course, I mean the 15 minute version of that song, because cutting down that song in any way, shape or form is blasphemy against the greatness that is that song.

Listened to the new stuff I picked up at Cheapo this weekend:

Mason Jennings - Simple Life (collection of live, unreleased acoustic performances)
Earlimart - Avenues EP (2003 release from one of my current favorite bands)
The Owls - Our Hopes and Dreams
Ozma - Pasadena

The Ozma CD is extremely disappointing. They were absolutely my favorite band in the early 00's, but their last couple of efforts have been lackluster. They have broken up once already, and can see another (and more permanent) break up coming soon. They just don't seem to be into their music anymore.
