"Science Genius Girl (lameboy mix)" by Freezepop
Man, I love synthpop music so much. Making it all Game Boy-like just increases the awesome.

That is like their best song, I deleted most of the rest when I...bought their CD.

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

I love this song. It's one of my favourites. A year ago I was on strong antipsychotics, so I was completely spaced out most of the time. I could be happily staring at a wall for ages, or locked up in my room cut off from the outside world for days. I know the song is about more severe examples of drug taking, but the way I felt at the time was a lot like what Pink Floyd were singing about. Also, around Easter last year I kept fainting for some unknown reason. The feeling just as I passed out and just as I came back was a perfect "Comfortably Numb" moment. It's a great feeling of genuine confusion and all over numbness. It's hard to describe but if you've ever been knocked out, you'll know what I mean.

Quote
Hello?
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now,
I hear you're feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I'll need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

O.K.
Just a little pinprick.
There'll be no more aaaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good.
That'll keep you going through the show
Come on it's time to go.

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

Tis a darn good song!

I am currently trodding my way through what is possibly the longest album ever: Sandinista! by The Clash, a two and a half hour long mess of greatness. Gotta love a band that puts out a triple album a year after they have a successful double album. It's probably the toughest album to get into, but once you do get into it, it's worth it as there are a ton of great tracks on the album, but there are also some really crappy songs too. But the best part of the album is that they do almost every genre you can think of at some point. Pop, Rock, Punk, Rap (yes...RAP), Disco, Funk, Reggae, Gospel, Country, etc.

The Clash just might be my favorite band ever.
