If you like any kind of punk then give them a shot. They are technically part of the dying ska-punk genre, but they really are so much more than that. They are really a combination of ska, punk, hardcore, jazz, and reggae. If you want to get into them, look at their latest album, Somewhere in the Between. Here's a link to get the first song from the album, We Will Fall Together:

Here's (a fan made) MySpace which has a bunch of songs from them. http://www.myspace.com/streetlightmanifestoslm

But right now I'm listening to the new Nas/DJ Green Lantern mixtape, The N***er Tape. The name of the mixtape and its subject matter makes me so uncomfortable, especially being a white guy that is listening to this. I suppose that Nas intended to make people uncomfortable with this effort. Hopefully he has some kind of impact and makes people think about the N word and what it has become. Regardless, AWESOME mixtape, and I'll probably buy it if it ever hits CD form.

Not really into punk. I've since heard one of their songs (Existentialism on Prom Night, I think...?) and didn't really care for it...

That's not Streetlight. That's Straylight Run. Cheesy

Still, check out Streetlight. I updated my post since you posted. Wink
