Finished up reading MacBeth today in school.
That was quite a thrilling tale.....
On a personally more pleasing note.
I am still working my way thru Fall of Reach.
I am most of the way done though and if i really invest a good 2 hours(probably less) i should finish it before the end of the week.

No it was the epic tale of how Master Chief became who he was and lead up to the begining of Halo.
A good read.
Now i just need to decide if i want to start the next book, The Flood, now or wait till i am going to be able to dedicate more time to it...

Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
What a coincidence i am starting that book on monday.
Well officially on monday.
I already read one of the short stories in it.
My english teacher was talking about how it came out when she was born and it use to be science fiction.but now it is just considrered a fiction.
Yes my teacher is VERY old as the bok was originally released in 1935 if memory serves.

Brave New World is science fiction at its purest. The whole premise revolves around science, industry and technology shaping humanity. Sure there is some social drama, but the main motivating factor is the society created by technology/industry/whatever. Besides, social dramas are not important. Ever.

I just finished up reading Uncle Tom's Cabin, but it was for school. I'm mildly interested in Engines of Creation: the Coming Era of Nanotechnology by K. Eric Drexler as of now.

I read it the first time when I was still in school too. It's a quick read. Do yourself a favor and don't bother watching either of the movies based on it. Both are brutally awful.
I just started reading the Chronicles of Narnia. I'm on book one, The Magicians Nephew.
I've also finally found the last book I was missing from Lloyd Alexander's Prydain Chronicles. I may read those next.

I remember the first book is a bit of a slow read.
It was a good series though
I am still reading Halo: The Flood Only 150ish pages in.
Brave New World i am a bit further into.(Thanks for the warnings on the movies)
I also read a poem called The Sniper. That was short and good. Snipers kick ass
And one of the short stories in the back of my copy of Brave New World called Harrison Bergeron(sp?)
That was ok too.

is your book a combination of Brave New World and Brave New World Revisited? I know year later Huxley wrote some additional short stories based on Brave New World. I've got them as a separate book. it's rather short so it's possible it's included in the edition you have.
I just started the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and am still muddling trough that Paul McCartney book.

Death of a Salesman for school, but I'm also looking into Kurt Cobain's Diary. After all, Niravana does (or did, depending on how you look at it) happen to be a great band.
