"was", "is", same thing.  Wink

Of course you are right, I should have said, "was".

"Naked Pictures of Famous People" - Jon Stewart.
Just finished.  It was ok, not as funny as I had hoped.

Benjamin Franklin: An American Life. Biography by Walter Isaacson.

Very well written and informative, especially about the events in the colonies and in his life prior to the US declaring indepenence from England.

"Nothing's Sacred" - Lewis Black.

When I first saw it in Barnes & Noble, I opened to a random page and it looked like a bunch of rants he had written, so I bought it.   Turns out it's his autobiography.  Very good stuff, I finished it yesterday and liked it a lot.

I picked up an old text book last night that has this in it. it also has several other stories. Don Quixote, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea as well as a lot of history, religion, music and art.

I got it for 50 cents at a thrift. copywrite date is 1897. I expect to find old things at thrifts but not something over 100 years old.
