I read the first three Harry Potter books, in the last 6 months. The first time in 20 years, too. I was amused to discover how much I had forgotten the scenes not featured in the films. With book 3 I was amazed to find out that the "final sequence" takes place in the last 25 pages of the book, whereas it seems to cover at least half the movie.

I also read The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett.

Currently, I am reading Less by Andrew Sean Greer.
