The old stuff is fantastic. However, unless by new you mean Supercop new, his new stuff blows.

I don't know. I like his new stuff. Forbidden Kingdom was one of the best movies I saw this summer.

I've been reading a lot of obscure Victorian ghost stories. Some if it droll as hell, but a few of them are rather good--one I just read "An Account of Some Disturbances in Aungier Street" was quite Lovecraftian (or maybe Lovecraft was quite Fanuvian), and likewise full of things that I have seen in horror movies.

just finished hanniabal by thomas harris now i'm reading hanniabal rising.

I didn't care for either of those. Hannibal Rising really felt like a cash grab. Hannibal was better but it was obvious Harris was trying to write a book they wouldn't make into a movie. They did... and REALLY changed the ending.
