ahhh, Terrible Ted. a fellow Michigan boy. so how much of that book is about Fred Bear?
I've been picking up a ton of Star Trek novels lately. most of the thrifts I hit sell their paperbacks for a quarter apiece or 5 for a dollar. how can you pass up a 20 cent book? I think they'll be good lunch break material after I finish the Hitchhikers omnibus.

I'll have to let you know. I just started it last night, it should be a pretty fast read though. It has about the most energetic 1st chapter of any book I've ever read though.

For school Beowulf which is actually a decent book/poem/epic so far.
Everyone said it would be boring/dry reading but its not too bad.
And Hardcore Gaming Magazine that came in the mail today.

Well I just finished it. That took way longer then it should have, I got busy, (busyer then I normally am) and the book got repeditive. Not too much was about Fred Bear, really only the last chapter. The book was about 90% guns and hunting related.

I read Beowulf and understood like three words of it. Grendel was good.
I'm reading The *yawn* Scarlet Letter. Soooooo boring, I love the writing style but the story blows chunks.

I have been reading the DragonBall Z mangas lately and they are some how even more long and drawn out then the anime but at least the artwork is good the saving grace of everything DragonBall I guess.

Brave New World Revisited by Aldous Huxley.
Brave New World was a frightening but very good book. Brave New World Revisited is more of the same, only frightening to a much greater extent.

let's see....
still on my Raymond Feist kick. I finished Krondor: Tear of the Gods and the King's Buccaneer. Both were quite good. I've read 9 of this guys books so far and haven't been disapointed yet.
I'm just about done with the Hitchhikers's Guide Omnibus. I finished So Long and Thanks for all the FIsh and the short story Young Zaphod Plays it Safe. 'll be starting Mostly Harmless when I go to lunch shortly.
I also started reading Star Trek Movie Memories by William Shatner. I'm about 150 pages in. the next chapter is on the Wrath of Khan.

Brave New World was one of the best books I've ever read. We had to read it for class, and I can honestly say that was one of the few that I actually enjoyed.
Also, if you get the chance, check out Into Thin Air. It's about a tem that climbs Mt. Everest. When I first looked at it, I thought it was going to be a horrible book, but it turned out to be very interesting.
Den - Are the Hitchhiker books any good?
