Howdy folks! It's been a long while since I posted. I've got a question... See, I just won a copy of Shining Force CD on Ebay and I'm crazy excited to play it but I know I'll need a Backup cart for it. But those danged things are so expensive. I know there are the Action Replays for the Saturn but I haven't seen any off-brand alternatives for the CD.

Anybody know of anything or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Not to my knowledge. So it'll definitely be too big for the system back-up?

You'll have to have the cart if you want to play through both scenarios through. Nothing else to do the job except emulation.

I did some brief hunting around. It looks like there were some aftermarket ones custom made by people but they were pretty much on par with official prices.

I did read that JP ones tend to be a bit cheaper but require modification of the system/cart in order to properly fit into the system.

If you went the JP route you should be able to use it with a 32x. If I remember correctly the cart slot will allow JP carts to fit.

I think that the Mega-Everdrive can function as one of these. It is probably way more expensive but it can do all sorts of neat things.
