I found some systems in my basement that I packed away a while ago. I figured Id post them up along with the 2 that you probably have seen on my prior posts.

Atari 400 ( 4-Port )( this might be the one that has gold numbering on it. This was bought at the garage sale with the romox carts and was a dealer used model for demos in his game store). This one has a regular serial number. So it was probably just a regular model from new and set up for DEMOS. ) If I remember Ill post pics when I go home tonight. )

*** UPDATED PICTURES TO BE FOUND ON THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD ON THE FIRST PAGE***

I finally got enough carts to merit a new update on the ole A8 collection page here. I will be adding systems and accessories along with a shot of some boxed games in the upcoming weeks. And will do another thread on my overall collection of all systems ( Ill link each to the other for easy finding and switching). At the time of this photo ( minus the CIB Cloudburst ( that wont fit in a plastic case on my shelf ) your looking at currently 163 carts. I still have a small but growing collection of carts for other systems including : Atari 2600, Atari 7800, NES, Sega Genesis/MegaDrive, Gameboy and soon to tackle SNES and all other cartridge based console gaming.  Which all will be second to my A8 collection.

Some items that are still to come in the mail for the A8 include Donkey Kong (Silver Label), Galaxian (Silver 8000 series label), Mario Bros ( XE Label ), CX85 Numerical Keypad, A slew of random cheapy A8 carts for trade or sale.

I've never even heard of Atari 8 Bit, but you've spread the word to at least one new person and now I'm going to research it. MAYBE my cousin had it. I vaguely remember loving to play Miner 2049er and it was on some kind of computer. Great collection!

EDIT - Any difference between the 2 Wizard of Wors or the original Atari Writer and silver label Atari Writer?

Those are just label variations . Same software inside. Like how the Atari 2600 has Picture and Text Labels. With titles like BASIC, AtariWriter the silver later is a later version of the software ( updated software with less bugs). but most of the label differences are just labels and nothing to do with the software.

I recently grabbed a copy of that 8 x 10 Missile Command manual and it's getting framed to hang in my gameroom. Love the art and Missile Command is one of my all time favorite games.
