definitely seeing some patterns.  There are so many lists in this thread that I love.  There's no way I can pick just 10.  I'll have to have some spares I can swap out.

If it were mine, I'd want to have a good balance of nostalgic 1-player classics (Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Punchout!!, etc.), along with great two-player games. You might want to avoid games like Metroid. Great game, but very time involved and hard to complete in one standing....unless you're a speed run freak. I'm also partial to shmups and as such, have included a few.

Here are mine in no particular order (except alphabetical....):

1942
Castlevania
Contra
Double Dragon
Dr Mario
Gradius
Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!
RBI Baseball*
Super Mario Bros
Tecmo Bowl

Honorable Mentions:
Pro Wresting
Rad Racer

No joke. Goonies, Rygar, Trojan. It was a very odd list I thought. Quite interesting.

I thought about adding Baseball Stars, since it is my favorite baseball game on the NES, but it's a little too dependent on powering up characters and didn't know if the PlayChoice had any sort of save feature.  That's why I went with RBI Baseball; something to think about anyway.  If I had a NeoGeo, you bet your a%%, I'd have Baseball Stars in there. Different style and incredible graphics in that cab.

Those are games I remember playing a lot as a kid. I also wanted to mix single and multiplayer stuff.

Yeah, Rygar was tempting (one of my favorite NES games), but it seems to take a bit of grinding. I guess my thought was that this aspect might not make it a good cab choice.

I have an offer on the table where I can trade a spare Contra for a TMNT.  I'd prefer TMNT 2 because, you know, arcade, but I don't think I can turn that game down.

TMNT > TMNT 2

Yeah, of course you would say that, and I mostly agree, but I'm thinking about the coop arcade experience.  Then again, I don't have a 4 player TMNT cab...

I was just gonna say, why not just get a TMNT cab. Its better than the NES port anyway Wink
