I do it all the time if the games are at a good enough deal. I enjoy collecting games almost as much as playing them and i can't pass up a non sports game that i don't have for $1-2 if I run across such a deal.

So do u guys shy away from disc games that have scratches?
Definately as long as it isn't a deep scratch or chips on the corner. Hell i even bought a resurfacing machine for that purpose. Even bought the game cube attachments. So far there has only been one game that I couldn't save and that was Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter which I picked up for $0.75 and it has probably saved around 20+ games and countless cds ranging from a variety of consoles Xbox, Gamecube, PS1&2, and Xbox 360.
