Anyone else played this game?  My local arcade put it in a few weeks ago. Freaking. Amazing!

I don't understand why you'd be interested in this. It has nothing to do with pinball whatsoever.

Funny, the guys at the store said to me, "so, what are you doing on this side of the arcade?" Ha!

I've never even heard of it, but it looks over the top and fun as hell.

So many people keep trying to compare it to SSB, but I don't get that at all.  Reminds me more of a pvp Rolling Thunder (which of course, Namco also produced).  I understand this board is pretty rare, but I'd really love to grab one someday.

The way the announcer says "Rocket Launcher" is still not as awesome as in Metal Slug.

Yeah, it is amazing and I'm hoping the arcade will do a tournament for this game soon; which of course they do for other games.  Oddly enough, it's only a two button game (fire/punch & jump).  The bonus is that it is so simple that pretty much anyone can pick it up quickly.  The real key is knowing the different boards and the various strategies for each.  Big fan of the seaside aquarium and the downtown skyscraper; both of which are pretty deep with different levels. I guess the only real downside to the game, like most pvp games, is that it's much more fun with 2 players.  If anyone is in or near Greensboro, NC in the near future I'd suggest checking it out.

This does look pretty cool. I love how the level changes the longer you play.
Any of the other stages cool like that one?

Mainly the aquarium and skyscraper are the only ones that change as time moves on. The boat, train, circus, weapons factory, and plane are stationary for the most part. The weapons factory and circus have a little more depth, but with very few platforms, they are pretty hard to navigate.  I don't mind the plane and boat levels so much, sure they are compact, but movement through them is pretty fluid.  The train really sucks; too linear for my taste.  I'm with you, I prefer the changing level and the aquarium has to be my favorite; lots of room to run around at first and then it forces you closer and closer together in a smaller environment to force the action.
