Nothing beats the first two. Those are the only ones I actually enjoyed. After that it became standard third person shooter to me. I have the first on PS1 and 2 on Dreamcast. That's the way to play GTA.

Yeah San Andreas has thus far been the best. The one I spent the most time playing, and the one with the best and most amount of crap to do.

Man, I wanted to say San Andreas but I clicked on Vice City.  I think on some level I like San Andreas better, but mainly for the RPG elements than for the general "feel" of the game.  Plus, I like the DJs better in Vice City (well, except for maybe Hans Oberlander).  Crap.  I really sounds like I've trying to convince myself.  Vice City.

Yes.

Vice City is the last one I finished. I played San Andreas and IV as well, but I couldn't really get into it. In IV I was especially annoyed by how much story there was and how little gameplay.
