i cleaned my game room and decided it was time to update my collection profile pictures. the old ones were over a year old at least. i wanted to have them show the room in a clockwise order, but i couldn't figure out how to sort the pics if that's even possible...so they're shuffled, but still look good.

edit: the display case is empty because i'm washing the cloth that the games sat on, there will be N64 stuff in there once it's back.

Very Nice.  I love all the N64 Boxed games.  Looks cool.  I can't ever find CIB N64 games around here unless they are sports and wrestling.

That looks very awesome Techwizard.  I also love the look of all the CIB N64 games arranged on the shelf.

Looking for CIB NES games..........even Silent Service.
I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Those N64 boxes look great!  Where did you get the Killzone poster?

a really big chunk of them came from a video store that was selling out all their n64 stuff (a lot CIB) for only a few dollars each. condition was really bad on quite a few, but enough were good that it was worth it. i think i bought at least 30 from that alone. otherwise i've been fairly lucky about finding local CIB n64 stuff, i've picked up some here and there. a lot of them were online though, especially as i had less and less of the popular ones to get.

I'll chime in on how awesome those boxed N64 games look too! Nice and tidy, very organized, I like it. Also jealous of that sweet Neo Geo Cab Cheesy

Nice set up and use of space. What's your favorite N64 game?

toss up between ocarina of time and super mario 64. close second would be jet force gemini...or maybe majora's mask.

going to need new game room pictures soon...i finally decided to build my own custom shelves for the game room. they're pretty basic but they're sturdy and the perfect height for all but my big box games. i'm building 3 separate 3' wide by 6' 7" or so high units, i finished 1 so far and will do the other 2 on wednesday. not sure if i'll ever paint or stain them, but they don't look too bad as is so i may leave it. just need to sand some edges a bit.

finished shelf #2 of 3 today. don't have the energy to do the third one right now, i'll do that on friday. the second one is a bit slanted because one of the side boards were warped. but somehow the shelves are all pretty near level...not sure how that happened, as they weren't attached at odd angles to the sides. either way it's standing on it's own right now without any sign of falling, the shelves still feel sturdy, and i'll be screwing it directly into the wall studs like the first one. i figure i'll get someone to pull the slanted side straight while i screw it in, that should keep the whole thing straight for good.
