Okay, this one is gonna sound weird, but...I need a walkthrough for Zelda's Adventure. I can't find a full guide anywhere. Plus, it's only the start of the game, and I'm already stuck. Yes, I am putting myself through this game, and no, I do not care what you may think of that. I just need a FULL walkthrough for it. Thank you. Smiley

You wanna know what I think of that? I think I'm a bit jealous. I just recently got a CD-i from Duke and I'd love to try my hand at the Zelda games on it.

Well, it has no copy protection or region locking (as far as I know). Burn a copy and try it out, if only for demo purposes.

So, no one has a guide?

I found this Let's Play of the game, it look like written walkthroughs just aren't around.

I want a copy of that game so bad, just because I want all the Zelda games. I know its terrible but I want to try it anyways.

I lasted about 20 min. on this game and I couldn't take it anymore.   The worst Zelda game by far.

But I understand the need to play it.

Nintendo doesn't count it as a real zelda game so i don't. i do count it as a zelda collectable if you want to own the complete series, but i wouldn't count it in any complete series playthrough.

I'd count it as needed for the complete series myself.

I think Nintendo gave Phillips temporary rights to Zelda and Mario to make up for screwing them over on a hardware deal.

They must have felt REALLY bad considering how strongly Nintendo safeguard their licenses so such a deal isn't to be taken lightly.

i know they gave the rights to philips and endorsed the project originally, but my understanding was that they had little to no input in the actual design and that in all future references to the zelda series, the cd-i games are never mentioned, implying that they don't consider them canon.

That is correct. They are definitely not canon, but I'd still consider them part of the series if a person was going for an entire Zelda set.
