No not really.

The topic should be how CIB collecting is the best and all the cool kids collect that way.

Which makes Crabby all the cooler, since he has a Virtual Boy kiosk.

I'd be bordering on god-like if Virtual Boy is cool. Got a CIB Jack Bros and CIB Water World. Just need that damn Mario Tennis Box now......

Okay, I'm in brainstorming mode, so take these suggestions with a grain of salt, but just some ideas:

1. A segment on RFG members...anything from a short "this is so-and-so and he/she does XYZ" to longer interviews.  There are some great folks who keep RFG running and do so much for this collecting community that it'd be cool to give them a moment in the spotlight. For example...I love slackur's blog posts and it'd be cool to know more about who he is, what he does for RFG, and what he collects, etc.

2. Shows that are console specific...like ya'll did with the 32X...you could talk about console X, what games are rare, what games are pricey, what games are awesome to play, and some hardware info.  I suggest the TG-16!

3. A show on abstract and weird consoles...anything from odd add-ons to controllers/accessories to failed/unknown consoles.

4. Okay, this a little silly, but a flashback episode would be cool...what I mean is to look back at some key things from previous episodes and give updated perspective/advise on previously discussed topics.

Just a couple quick ideas Smiley

You could always go back and check out the old episodes of RFGeneration Nation: http://www.rfgeneration.c...ews/rf-generation-nation/

It's good to see more suggestions. Keep them coming!

I'd like to see those ideas combined. As in, talk about a console from the perspective of it being about to be released. For example, the hosts would pretend its 1988 and Sega's new console is about to released. They could "speculate" about the upcoming games for it, but in a way that everything would actually be true. To make it even better, there would be ample 80's slang thrown in to make it seem more authentic.

How about a show on collecting other items related to video games? Like magazines, books, toys, figures, comics. What to get, what to look for?

I like the idea of another console specific show.  I really liked the NES Spectacular you did a while back and the 32X show was good too.  You could do the Snes, Genesis, N64, TG16, Saturn, any of them really. Or even get into handhelds.  Love the show and can't wait for the next episode.

I vote for having Metal Jesus Rocks on an episode of the Collectorcast:

The Collectorcast needs a PC episode.
