Sorry for no pics, my phone battery is only good for a few minutes (replacement in the mail) and my digital camera is in a box atm.

My Secret Santa (Arrngrim) not only flitered through our extensive retro collection to find and fill a few missing titles, he used my old disc rot article to make sure the discs were perfect!  One of the games, Hi Octane, has had pinholes the last three times I found a copy, and he found one in perfect shape!  He sent:

Dark Castle (Genesis) CIB
John Madden '93 (Genesis) CIB
Echo Jr. (Genesis)
Hi Octane (Saturn) CIB
Virtual Casino (Saturn) CIB

Very pleasantly surprised.  Best of all, and true to the intent of the Secret Santa this year, Arrngrim and I have exchanged contact info and he seems like a very cool dude.  *cue sappy holiday music* "Its the best present I could get."

My Secret Santa (kal9000) did great!    He got me some games to play and to "collect":

Revenge of Shinobi (Sega Classics) - this one is sealed, I think it's NEW and SEALED?
Assassins Creed II (360) - just started playing the Vita AC3 so this should be fun!
Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise (360) - I've been looking for this for a long time!!

Thanks KAL!    You did great!   Hope you are happy with your gift as well!

Here's my stuffs!  Thanks S.S.!  *coughrusslymancough*

He made a sweet golf dude from perler beads complete with stand.  Its sitting on my dvd shelf right now.  He also threw in a bunch of Wreck it Ralph buttons.  I'm not sure what to do with them yet, but it'll be creative!  Kinda hard to see but there's a couple of plastic mario figurines in there too, and a couple of CDs from his old band.  I'll give it a listen in my car on my way to work tomorrow morning.

Got a Nintendo Power, my first Smiley  Also Cyborg Justice for Genesis, i loved that game when i was a kid.  The vs mode is cool, my brother and i used to spend hours ripping each others arms off.  Also got a Cruisin' USA poster that I'll put on my wall soon.

Be jealous Razor Knuckles, i got a Tiger-ish Sonic 3-D blast as well.  Just another cool piece to have sitting on my shelf.

I'm glad i got the book "How to Survive a Robot Uprising" from my S.S., but my fiance isn't.  She got me the same book for Christmas.

Overall, I'm very happy with what i recieved.  Hopefully i did just as well.

I wasn't sure if it was Canadian, European, or some other international release.

Sweet glad the Golf Mario made it in one piece.

Here's what I got!
Mario kart made out of perler beads. My reaction was the best I recorded it.
I got the Devil May Cry 1,2,and 3. Never played them. Played it for a bit yesterday. Reminds me of Resident Evil 2, but you have a sword.

Also got a NES game Renegade. It's a beat em up. Pretty hard.

I'm super happy and will be busy for. A while.

I asked my Secret Santa for games from the more elusive systems, if possible, and was thrilled when I opened the box to find these.

A few games closer to an Odyssey2 set, and seeing 3DO titles had me smiling.  Love Bites is AO, but I'm a guy (that likes looking at scantily clad women) and really appreciate gaining a title that is so difficult to find and in great condition.  I wonder if an adult title then a video of Woody Woodpecker was supposed to mean something...

And how did he know I love M&M's?

Love Bites, the ultimate gift. I think we can lock this thread now because Techie just won Christmas Tongue

An interesting demonstration of the competitive nature of game publishers in the early 90's, when they license soft-core.  Kind of puts the Nintendo v. Tengen battle to shame, don't it?
