BECAUSE RIGHT NOW IT'S DJ HERO 2 AT MAX VOLUME FOR ME

Ever played Beatmania?

No, but it looks pretty cool, if not cost prohibitive.

Better than DJ Hero?

It is in my opinion.  Hard as hell though, so prepare for a challenge

As probably the one guy on this site who owns all the console versions of Beatmania IIDX, I can say it's way better than DJ Hero. Even when drunk. Wink It can be a little pricey though, depending on whether or not you want to invest in an arcade-style controller.

Interestingly enough, being drunk actually helps me on certain songs, but hurts me on others.

One game I've played while drunk is Sonic 2006. But you NEED to be drunk, and maybe a little insane, to want to trudge your way through that. grrr

I recorded every line of my Sonic Heroes review while drunk.

Older sports games, like NHL 94 or Tecmo Bowl, were great to play while drinking with buddies.  Anyone, even non-gamers, can pick up those games pretty quick so everyone gets some.

Any Mario Kart game is fun while drunk.  All the fun of driving intoxicated w/o the danger of being on the road.  Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Then you're in first place so long and only seem to get one lone banana lap after lap.

This is why I love IIDX.  What's DJ Hero?

Intoxicated you mean drugged? lol..

Well, i don't do drugs, but i imagine that someone who takes ecstasy will love to play something colorful, full or particles like Rez.
