I have no idea what this is or if it's rare and was wondering if anyone here had any idea. Anything you can tell me about it would be great!

I don't know much about the arcade machine but I believe that the game was also available on the Atari Lynx.

Also it's good to see a fellow Wisconsinite.

It's not rare, just a deluxe sit-down racing arcade game. It was one of the early polygon graphics games, and is really a fun racer. I believe the only system to get a home version was the Atari Lynx.

If you pull the trigger on that thing, you better price out one of those controllers.  Probably a reason they are selling it at that price before fixing it themselves.

Yup. Be prepared to to spend twice as much on the Yoke controller than you did on the cabinet - unless you get really, really lucky on eBay. Basically, you're competing with people who are restoring a Star Wars cabinet and MAME cabinet builders. Both groups are prepared to put down serious coin to acquire it.

There's a company that made reproductions for $350 - but there's a little controversy about order fulfillment, business practices, etc. at another message board I frequent.

My opinion: not exactly a machine collectors are clamoring for and will take a bit of money to get playable. Only worth it if you have a Yoke sitting around and really, really like that game.
