So years ago when I first moved to town I starting hitting the gym with a few buddies from work and occasionally warmed up on this cool exercise bike that had a Speed Racer game on it. Played with it once in a while and then friends moved off and I stopped hitting the gym. Fast foward to last year and I finally rejoined a different gym. Things were going well for aobut a year and I got a little chummy with the owner when he was around, then the location I was attending had to close down due to lack of interest. Luckily they had another location that wasnt too much further away. It was the same gym I used to attend all those years back, just under the new ownership of the owner I had been getting friendly with.

So I've been going there for nearly a month when I notice tucked away in the corner that awesome old exercise bike I had forgotten about! I checked it out and it still worked too! And there was even a second one right next to it! Then it hits me. Its got these Exertainment logos slapped across it in a few spots. This couldnt be related to the rare SNES game could it? A little research concluded that it most likely is so I tried to get in touch with the owner to see if he wanted to sell (after just closing down a different location I was under the assumption that he might like the extra floor space Smiley ). After a few weeks I was finally able to track him down and ask about selling these things. He seemed VERY interested in moving them out asap. He informed me that the one bike may have a few problems, and suggested $500 might be a good price for both. I made it painfully obvious with my body language that I wasnt to keen on that price while I secreted pooped my pants with joy and he quickly countered with "well since that one might have some issues how about $300?" BOOM, sold. I came back a couple hours later with my family and dropped some cash in his hand. I asked him if I could have a couple days to arrange a truck to pick them up, which he was ok with.

So I came back 2 days later with a friend and hauled them away to my house. I eargerly set them up and carefully removed the back panels (the owner no longer had the keys to open them up) to see what was inside. I squealed with delight as I saw a SNES mounted in each kiosk. I gracefully dusted off the 2 inches of dust from the back of the cart and popped them out to take a look......... a copy of Mountain Bike Rally/Speed Racer in each kiosk!!

The bikes that I've been able to find the most info for online have been the home versions and not these particular models. If anyone can link me to any other info regarding them I'd be very greatful. And if anyone else around here owns one of these I'd love to see some pics to I can compare the condition and completeness of mine. Thanks!!

Now onto the pics!!

Also notice the awesome T-shirt I got from my buddy Duke.Togo!

Knew it! *cackle* Now, the question is, do you sell one of them for what you paid on Stadium Events? Grin

It'll be awesome once he's tall enough to use the bike with you. Enjoy the bikes sir, and realize that I'd be more than willing to take one should you ever need the space.

If you're interested, I could likely get you a free trip here to Florida for Otronicon if you're willing to drag one of the bikes along so they could showcase it.

Everyone here seems to be more excited about those bikes than I am. Are those carts super-duper rare and worth a million dollars?

Thats the last sale of just a single cart. The bikes are so obscure that I'm having an extremely hard time trying to track down any info on them let alone price.

lol, I couldnt imagine driving to Florida from here, especially in something thats big enough to haul one of these along with me. Googlemaps says it would be around 57 hours of straight driving.
