Figured I'd see if any of you fine folks could help me out. I'm trying to track down a new copy of Ys I & II Chronicles Premium Edition for the PSP. The problem is that it's impossible to find for less than $50 online, and usually more than that.

GameStop still lists it on their site, and sell it for $20. Only one local store was shown to have it in stock, but a call to the store led to finding out that this was a mistake.

ALL OF YOU: would you be willing to check the site to see if any of your local stores might have a copy laying around? I'd obviously reimburse you for the cost of the game + shipping. If you wanted to work out a deal for a little extra for your troubles I'd be open to that, too.

Thanks.

It's at least promising that stores appear to have stock. If I keep asking, someone is bound to be close to one.

There was a store in western Ohio that had one, and the other two were eastern and southern Indiana.

There might be one at the local store here. I got mine for $30 about 4 months ago, if that's a cool price I can check up on it. I still have the privilege of digging through everything!

If it was sealed and in good shape, $30 is fine.

you need it to be sealed? I think the Gamestop near me has it in stock, but it's Gamestop, so it's not gonna be sealed.

EDIT: Nevermind. They don't have it anymore. Sorry.

Sealed would be ideal.

On the topic: I was shocked when the copy of Ys Seven I picked up yesterday still had the factory seal. I hate that it's something I even need to worry about.

Wow. Will you be near any of those locations in the near future? As long you can call ahead and confirm that it's both the Premium Edition and factory sealed, I could PayPal you ahead of time.

Let me know.

^ Exactly what he said. They won't be factory sealed. I tried finding a copy of Record of Agarest War Zero factory sealed, and gave up after I found out that they had each individual component in the box rubberbanded together.

Still may be worth looking/asking. Like I said a couple posts back, I picked up the premium edition of Ys Seven yesterday and it was still factory sealed. That was even the last copy they had - there was just had a dummy case on the shelf with the title of the game written onto it.

I remember getting mine "new" from GameStop months ago when it was $24.95.   Being GameStop, they only had one copy and it wasn't sealed but it was all complete and I had a 50% coupon so I bought it for $14 after tax.

I hadn't noticed that they were increasing in price, but since mine isn't sealed it probably doesn't matter anyway.
