I agree dark humor can be funny, but if what the article said was true, he may have crossed the line with that statement towards the woman.

I don't think so.  He was making a joke.  I'm going to sound like an a**hole, but it would actually be kind of funny (more ironic, I guess) if she did get raped.  If you have ever seen his show, it doesn't really come as a huge surprise.

It's like going to a Who concert and complaining the music is too loud.

He could have been more clever about saying it then just blurting it out though.
