I picked this baby up at a local shop a couple days ago:
http://famicomblog.blogsp...m-so-pucking-awesome.html
It is the original Puck Man handheld released by Tomy in Japan before they changed the name to Pac Man.
I have spent years looking for some Puck Man stuff here so I was really psyched to find it. Nice piece of retro gaming history. And it just looks awesome too!

That's awesome! I wish I had some Puck Man memorabilia.
Maybe Tynstar here has some. I hear he's got a few Pac-man pieces of memorabilia...

Puck, man. That is awesome.
Seriously though, I do really like VFD tabletops. The way those glow is fantastic.
Did they still have that copy of Moon Crystal?

Thanks Shadow and Duke!
I love these VFD tabeltops too, as you say the display looks amazing the way it glows like that. Next on my shopping list is a Frogger if I can find it!
When I was there a couple days ago they still had Moon Crystal. If you are interested in it just let me know!

I've got the Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga Coleco tabletops. I'm lining up another large purchase at the moment, but if I can get a few more items to sell I will send you a PM over on Famicom World. Glad to see you posting over here; don't be a stranger.

Puck man was his original name but changed in the west due to fear of people turning the P into a F
