The game will basically be a Kindom Hearts-style fighting game with characters from across all Final Fantasy's. There'll be a hero and villain character for every main FF game, except FF12 and FF13.

Way past cool!... pity about it being PSP. If it had been for the Wii it would have been the final fighter to convince me to get one. Oh well...

One could say that Square is milking it's franchise (which it is...) but with this game they're really giving the fans what they want. So I give them credit for that. Smiley

Yeah well, even though FF13 will be released on both PS3 and 360, Square is still very Sony-minded. I'm sure they wouldn't release FF13 on Xbox 360 if the game wasn't so expensive to develop.

Guess this is a reason to get a PSP. Wink

I'm certain they will release this on another platform besides PSP. It's too grand of a game for them not too. Just give it time.

If it goes to a console, I'm in. The number of classic FF characters in it peaks my interest enough to drown out my disgust at the milking of FF7.

I wish I was more excited about this, but I just can't get into fighting games...

Oh, and I still can't stand Tidus. Probably my least favorite protagonist so far.
