Hi. Newbie here so apologies if I'm just doing something wrong.
I was going to add a game into the database (LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, European X360 release). The copy I have is a UK copy and has a BBFC U rating, but I can't select that in the rating box (only PEGI, ELPSA, USK and Kijkwijzer systems are there). If I set UK-only as the region I can select BBFC ratings, but I don't want to do that since I know the game was released in other European countries as well.
Any suggestions or should I just find out the corresponding PEGI rating and use that?
The database is set up as such that we can add variations of games even within a region like say Europe. If I'm not mistaken the BBFC is only used in the U.K.? If that's the case then your copy should be added as a UK only release, with a European-wide version (PEGI) to be added later on as someone who owns it wishes to submit it. Same if it was German (USK) or Australian (OFLC) or even the old ELSPA ratings. That way with the unique packaging, UPC/Part numbers and ratings, each version of that game will find it's place in our database for members to have accurate information to reference.
Short answer: Make it a UK only release with it's BBFC, the others will be added later on as needed.
