As an avid player of DDR during the cold months, I am elated to see this franchise coming to the wii:

Yay! Maybe I can finally get my wife to try DDR.

I was never a big fan of the home releases (only because of the pads though - the song selection on the JP releases is subperb), but my group of friends and I were religiously addicted to the arcade versions. About twice a month we used to drive into Chicago to various arcades to play.

Anyway, this looks pretty sweet!

Apparently you've never played on Mario Mix's pad on the GCN. Fantastic pad. Hope I can use it for the Wii version.
