Well I just acquired my 1000th game, which happened to be Shadowrun for the SNES. A classic cyberpunk RPG that I have very fond memories of playing when I was younger. After looking around the bedroom of doom, I've also decided to stop collecting until I can beat ~10% of my entire collection. This means I will miss at least half of the current cycle of next-gen games and consoles, but on the other hand I've got stacks of games that I haven't even tried yet. I've compiled a rough list of the 100 titles that I plan on beating. This list contains games that I was never able to beat as a kid, firsts in a long line of sequels, and plenty of PS2 titles (I'm going to stop 2 PS2 titles short of 500
). If I'm feeling ambitious maybe I'll write some reviews for RFG after I complete a game. Well time to start gaming (and saving money in my pocketbook.)
