I found out tonight that I'm probably getting an Xbox 360 without paying any money. That means I have £200 to spend this payday, and I was thinking of getting a 19 inch PC monitor to go with the 360. My current monitor is a 5 year old Packard Bell 15" TFT. I'm happy with it but it's only 15". I don't know anything about these new fangled LCD screens. We haven't had a new TV for 7 years, and this is the newest monitor in the house, so it's safe to say I'm out of the loop. Would someone be so kind as to pick one from dabs.com which is under £200? I'm not sure if I want 4:3 or 16:9 as I think my graphics card can only do 4:3. But apparently the 360 is a lot better in widescreen.

I've found this one, which seems good value.

I think I saw that one in the shop today but, as usual, the source signal/material was crap and all the monitors seemed a bit fuzzy and had different hues. One of the HDTVs looked like it was using an RF signal. laugh

The Advent is a Collect@Store item, so I can order it at the internet price then collect and pay for it in the shop. It's near the game shop, so I could get it in the same journey as the Xbox 360.

I've ordered this one because its the same as the Advent except a couple of things are better, and it's the same price.

How are you getting a 360 for free?  Gift?  Rob a store?  Ex-Girlfriend?
