Pikmin 2

I got this game a few days ago and after having played it for an hour I'm not very enthusiastic. In general it's pretty cool.
It has the nintendo quality, so everything looks, feels and plays neat, but it's so slow. Before you know it a day is over.
The horrible camera isn't helping either. There are 3 buttons to control the camera, but they all put the camera in a pre-fixed position. I'd prefer a camera I could swing left, right, up and down.
Does anybody else have this game? Does it improve in the later levels?
