Monster battles...best console tbs games?

Recently I picked up Jade Cocoon 2 for 7 bucks. And it's one of those "Evolve your monsters and take them into turn based battle" games. Gladius, Disgaia and Fire Emblem are other examples of this genre.

I know I'm missing some for the current generation of consoles, so does anyone have an opinion on which ones are the best?

I suppose you could throw Pokemon Coloseum in there too.

Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2 on the other hand yes

You can even get a transfer pack and port your pokemon from Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal too

Definately one of them

Though childish you cannot deny the greatness that was(/is?) pokemon.

In anycase Cubivore is like that too.
But again thats a GCN game.
I know some more but can't think of titles off hand.
If they come to me i will list them (obviously.)
