Laurel, just in case you haven't heard (which I suspect you have), there is a Tales game coming out for DS.  GamesAreFun.com has the first image which shows some character art.  Not much, but for fans of the series it is still news.

OMG thanks Mike! I'm overjoyed! FYI Tales of Phantasia is finally getting a US release on the GBA sometime in 2006. Tales of Symphonia for GC was actually a pre-quel for Tales of Phantasia, which was originally released for the Super Famicom way back when.
