MGS on an iPhone? Stupid Hide 'n Shoot Time Crisis gameplay? I don't believe this...

I could easily find Flash games on the internet that look better than this and are more fun to play. This is unworthy of the MGS name. Angry

I don't think it looks all that bad, honestly. You have to remember that it's for a phone. I commend Konami for trying to reach out to new devices. Metal Gear Solid is just a name, and from the looks of it, they could have done the franchise MUCH worse.

That's true but the name means something to a lot of gamers. MGS is all about stealth, not simple shoot-em-up type gameplay.

But I guess you're right, they could've released Metal Gear Solid: Break Dance Fighting, which would probably be a lot worse. Wink

Hmm, if I had an iPhone or iPod Touch I would probably get it out of curiosity but honestly would rather just use the iPhone to emulate the PSone original.

I would rather play this than the turn-based card driven Metal Gear Acid Mobile however.

Silent Hill is also on iPhone too just on the subject on Konami iPhone titles.

This actually looks pretty damn fun. I would totally buy it if I owned an iPod/iPhone.
